In most cases you will see moss beginning to show up on your brand new roof within the first 3-5 years. It will begin appearing on the Northern faces of your roof first, along with any areas that have tree cover or are shaded for the majority of the day. If you call us early enough we can keep your roof moss under control without any invasive actions to your roof. WE WILL NOT PRESSURE WASH YOUR ROOF. We will begin by brushing off all of the large moss with a wire brush. Then we blow all the loose debris off the roof with a commercial grade backpack blower. We will then apply a moss treatment containing zinc sulfate either in granular or liquid form depending on the pitch of your roof. We always finish every job with a detailed cleanup.
